The Telegraph is running an article on a study proving something a lot of us have experienced firsthand … that a nice cold beer after some heavy exercise is probably the best thing you can consume – high in sugar and fluid – and the low alcohol percentage act as an endorphin booster.
Another reason to go Hashing. I’m sure some day some study will prove that the combination of running, drinking, flashing, sea-shanty-signing, lewd-joke-telling and pizza-eating is the most awesomest thing you can do to your body.

In a rare piece of good news for those who like a pint, Spanish researchers say beer can help someone who is dehydrated retain liquid better than water.
Prof Manuel Garzon, of Granada University, also claimed the bubbles in beer help to quench the thirst and that its carbohydrate content can help to replace lost calories.
